Why I Love Retro Tech
There’s something magical about old hardware and software. The chunky keys of a beige keyboard, the warm glow of a CRT monitor, the chimes and clicks of an aging hard drive all evoke a sense of discovery. Retro tech isn’t just nostalgia; it’s a reminder of how much ingenuity went into early computing.
Playing with obsolete systems also forces us to think differently. Limited memory means writing efficient code; simple graphics call for clever art direction. These lessons influence my modern work and keep me grounded.
