Lessons from Past Projects
Over the years I’ve launched dozens of side projects. Some were smashing successes, while others never saw the light of day. Each one taught me something.
The first lesson is to keep your scope small. It’s tempting to build the perfect tool or game right away, but starting with a minimal version helps you iterate quickly. The second is to embrace feedback. Share your work early; honest reactions from friends and users often lead to the best improvements.
Finally, celebrate the process. Even projects that fail on the surface add to your skill set.
